Seniorlink Submits Three Innovation Challenge Grant Applications
Boston, Mass. – January 31, 2012 – Seniorlink announced the submission of three Innovation Challenge grant applications in response to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Center's call for proposals to rapidly improve health and health care and lower costs for frail elders and adults with disabilities.
In developing its applications, Seniorlink partnered with a health system in Indiana, a health system and in-home technology provider in Louisiana, and a highly regarded Medicare Special Needs Plan in western Pennsylvania.

National Family Caregivers Month

Seniorlink Closes 5 Million Round of Funding
Boston, Mass. – November 17, 2011 – Seniorlink today announced the completion of a $5.0 million round of funding led by Commonwealth Capital Ventures. The company also announced that Elliot M. Katzman, General Partner of Commonwealth Capital Ventures, will join Seniorlink’s Board of Directors.
The funding will be used primarily to strengthen Seniortouch™, Seniorlink’s web-based care management system, and to develop other information technology assets that improve Seniorlink’s ability to manage care on behalf of frail elders and people with disabilities.

20th Anniversary Better Government Competition Recognizes Seniorlink
September 13, 2011 - Boston, MA - Seniorlink was recognized at the Pioneer Institute's 20th Anniversary Better Government Competition as one of the best winners of the program's 20-year history.

Sue Gregg, an Ohio native and licensed social worker with deep experience as a nursing home, rehabilitation, and long-term acute care hospital administrator, will lead Caregiver Homes™ of Ohio. "I'm delighted to bring this innovative service to Medicaid beneficiaries in my home state," Gregg stated. "I look forward to forging lasting partnerships with state agencies, county boards of developmental disabilities, AAAs, advocates, and other long-term care and medical providers across Ohio."
Ms. Gregg is joined in her work by Christine Kristanich, who previously served as the Supported Living Program Director for ResCare based in Columbus. Ms. Kristanich has more than 20 years of experience serving people with developmental disabilities in Ohio.
Caregiver Homes™ of Ohio will initially provide Adult Foster Care and Adult Family Care service to people with developmental disabilities as part of Ohio's Individual Options waiver.

1,800 Clients Served by Caregiver Homes™

The homes—one in Lakeville and one in Webster—are the first of 15 funded by the pilot program, which the Commonwealth is calling “Caring Homes.” A Caring Home is the actual residence of a caregiver who is paid to provide 24-hour supervision and care to a very frail elderly individual.
