Janice Masi, Massachusetts Executive Director

As the Executive Director of Caregiver Homes, Janice oversees the implementation process and all program operations, including clinical processes, contracts, recruitment, and overall performance and quality. She has been a key contributor in the development and launch of the Caregiver Homes program. Previously, as Seniorlink’s Director of Clinical Services, she was responsible for Seniorlink’s eldercare coordinated service delivery system- professional care advisory services, the national care manager network and the delivery of its care management services.

Ms. Masi’s professional experience has been in developing operations systems and programming in healthcare organizations. Prior to joining Seniorlink, she was a regional manager for Prism Rehab Systems, a national sub-acute rehabilitation company. Ms. Masi also has held senior management positions at Eastern Rehabilitation Network, Advanced Rehab Systems and National Rehabilitation Management Group.

Ms. Masi has extensive knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation, treatment of traumatic brain injury and the implementation of clinical programming in settings across the continuum of care. Ms. Masi received a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts.


Linda Morreale-Steele, R.N., Program Director - MA

In her role as the Massachusetts Program Director for the Caregiver Homes program, Linda oversees the daily operations of the program, including the matching and placement of all program participants, training and ongoing support to all caregivers, and the delivery of program services through the primary case management teams. As a Registered Nurse, Linda has thirty years of experience in healthcare, primarily with an elderly caseload. She has worked throughout the continuum of healthcare- in acute care, and assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, with both management and clinical responsibilities. Linda joined Caregiver Homes in 2005 as the first Program Director, and has contributed to the development of the program model as well as the initial implementation process.


David Young, PhD, Vice President, Operations

David Young brings to Seniorlink more than 20 years of experience in healthcare service delivery, healthcare management and information technology. Among his significant contributions has been the development of SeniorTouch™, a web-based medical record and case management system that supports hundreds of users across Seniorlink's service lines, including Caregiver Homes.

As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Young has studied and treated persons with chronic physical conditions, including intractable pain problems leading to disability in the elderly and work-injured populations. Dr. Young earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Kent State University. He also holds a Master’s degree from Kent Sate and a B.A. from the University of Rochester.


Brian Merrick, MSW, Case Manager- MA

With extensive knowledge and experience in eldercare, Brian provides client assessment and case oversight with complete perspective and personal approach. As a Master’s level Social Worker, Brian has over 20 years of professional healthcare, psychiatric and private practice work in gerontology. As a Geriatric Care Manager in private practice, he provides care planning and care coordination, as well as comprehensive assessments. Brian joined Seniorlink in 2003 as an Elder Care Advisor, and has expanded his role to include the Case Management of Caregiver Homes cases.
